The home of the Matilda Knights, Rockaxe is the headquarters for the entire organization, and many knights can be seen training hard in the courtyards of Rockaxe as well as guarding the town. As the capital of the Matilda Knightdom, the entire perimeter of the town is built into the surrounding hillside. It is well known for its artwork, due to the knights' superb taste in fine arts. The trade center in Rockaxe is always filled with art collectors seeking fine artifacts from other lands. Though long part of the City-States of Jowston, during the Dunan Unification War, Highland briefly held the Matilda Knights as a vassal state; however, in late 460, the Allied Army ousted the Highland Kingdom from the area, and following the end of the Dunan Unification War, Rockaxe became part of the nearly formed Dunan Republic under the leadership of Miklotov. | |||||||||||||
