Mukumuku

Mukumuku (ムクムク) is a supporting character in Suikoden II. The red-caped leader of the Five Squirrel Squad, Mukumuku recently has returned to his home in Greenhill Forest.

Biography

Mukumuku is the leader of the Five Squirrel Squad, a troupe of flying squirrels. Mukumuku can be discerned from the rest of his troop by the red cape that he dons.

One day, when Riou, the future hero of the Dunan Unification War, and his sister, Nanami, were training. Nanami found Mukumuku imitating Riou’s moves and ventured after him. She cautiously went behind the flying squirrel and leapt upon him. She brought the creature back to Riou and Jowy Atreides. She named him Mukumuku and has known the squirrel ever since.

When Riou, Nanami and Jowy were forced to flee from Kyaro under accusation of treason, Mukumuku joined them. For a short time, he was a member of Viktor’s mercenaries, but later joined the Allied Army.

After the war’s conclusion, he returned to Greenhill Forest.

Trivia

• Despite appearing in the opening movie to Suikogaiden Volume 1, Mukumuku does not actually make an appearance during the course of the game.
