Melville

Melville (メルヴィル) is a supporting character in Suikoden III. The son of Billy and the St. Loa Swordsman of Rage, Billy currently lives in Vinay del Zexay with his father.

Biography

Melville was born in Vinay del Zexay to Billy and an unknown woman. Since Billy was such a deadbeat, Melville was usually on his own in Vinay del Zexay. He formed the Saint Loa Knights along with his friends Alanis and Elliot - in which he was the Swordsman of Rage. Elliot's family, who ran a bakery, often fed Melville when Billy was out looking for adventure.

He and his friends met Hugo in the alleys of Vinay del Zexay, and decided to join the ranks of the Fire Bringer. During his stay at Budehuc Castle, Melville took part in the plays; Nadir called him a poor actor, but Melville was still able to attract quite an audience. He and Elliot even got the chance to ask Percival to train them, which Percival agreed to do in his spare time.

Following the end of the Second Fire Bringer War, Melville returned to Vinay Del Zexay, bringing his long-absent father back with him.
